Happy Friday, Executive Family
Happy Friday, Executive Family 🌤️
It’s a beautiful Friday. I just finished walking my dogs and I’m on the porch soaking in the last bit of summer. September 1 is around the corner—and with Labor Day on Monday, some say it’s the last call for wearing white (style is personal; I say wear what you love). I’m reflecting on how grateful I am to be an entrepreneur. The kids just went back to school Monday, and they’re already out today—and again Monday for Labor Day. For single parents, that used to mean scrambling for childcare and clocking in on someone else’s time. I’ve lived that stress. I’m grateful to have grown beyond it. Be thankful for the little things, and never forget where you came from.
Introducing: The Second Act Executive
Our new weekly newsletter launches Monday, September 1, and will land in your inbox every Monday. It’s exclusively for corporate executives stepping into their own firms, practices, corporations, or small businesses. The newsletter is owned and operated by me, a corporate executive, through my company, Wolf Vibrations, LLC, but you can subscribe to it at BWellnessCenter.shop.
Wellness Tip (Men 50+)
Three compound moves, three days a week: squats (bodyweight or goblet), push-ups (incline if needed), and rows. Aim for 2–3 sets of 8–12 reps each. Pair with 20–30 minutes of brisk walking on non-lifting days and 8 hours of sleep. This helps maintain muscle mass, insulin sensitivity, and cognitive resilience—cornerstones for long-term leadership performance.
Wellness Tip (Women 50+)
Lift light-to-moderate weights 2–3x/week (think deadlifts with kettlebells, overhead press with dumbbells, and supported rows), plus daily mobility (hips/shoulders) and a protein-forward plate (at least 25–30g protein per meal if your clinician agrees). Add magnesium-rich foods (pumpkin seeds, leafy greens) and consistent bedtime to support mood, bone health, and recovery.
What the Newsletter Will Cover
 * Executive transitions: carving a second act that protects your time, capital, and reputation
 * Operating discipline: pricing, cash flow, risk controls, vendor selection, and AI that actually reduces cost
 * Brand integrity & leadership: standards, decision frameworks, and client selection
 * We don’t chase buzz: We’re not a hype feed about hot tickers. I’m a big fan of Mad Money on CNBC, and I’ve followed Jim Cramer for years. We’ll always keep an eye on the themes he raises—whether that’s Nvidia, CVS, or another market mover—but our focus in the newsletter is different. We may touch on some of his commentary when it ties into executive strategy, but we won’t be solely focused on stocks or daily buzz.
